The 1.8 adventure update (that rhymes) is a nice addition to the growing minecraft game. Although still fixing things the game is almost complete with only two updates to go on the full game release.

With the nice (and sort of erie looking) towns to the creepy enderman this update makes a great addition to the game to keep us interested in the game for a bit longer as we await the full game release.

Now the Enderman, don’t get me wrong are a sort of disappointment to me. As I thought they would be more creepy then they are. Notch pulling a last minute decision to make the eyes purple and mouth open instead of a blank stare with deep white eyes as if he thought the enderman were too scary. This, was indeed a disappointment to me.

Overall the new creative mode is a fun time passer for when I have a idea to build something without having to gather up all the materials. Although I do wish you could wear the armor instead of just hold it in creative mode.

Now the food bar is not really a pain but more of a pleaser. My health going up over time is a gift from God in some times for me. Although I do miss the armor bar a little bit.

I certainly can’t wait for 1.9
